Inflatable 5K run, UK: an ultimate inflatable challenge!

The typical British setting for such a war of attrition is often 'The Races': the local racecourse. So we had to come up with a course that would push people to their limits, instead of horses. The basic principle was that it would be sporty, safe and fun for young and old, big and small. In other words, everyone.

We immediately received approval for the design. The organization just wanted to be sure that the material could withstand the average BMI and enthusiasm of the participants. No problem, we sent some samples of the vulnerable surfaces and seams. All extra reinforced, water-resistant. Customer was assured and gave green light. The rest was a piece of cake: cut out, stitch pack it up!

That same summer, in several English villages and towns, people were able to crawl and sneak, jump and wriggle, struggle and slide through, over inflatable structures such as the Mega Mountains, Temple of Doom and Leap of Faith.
